Welcome to this website which I hope will tell you all you need to know about our lovely apartment in Ibiza.

If you already know Ibiza, I don’t need to persuade you to visit. If you don’t, I guarantee you will have a great time. Ibiza has something, in fact a lot, for everyone. It’s definitely not just a party island.

Balcony

The apartment is in a modern development in Playa d’en Bossa, in the south of the island. Ibiza town is nearby, about 10mins by car. This part of the island is at the centre of Ibiza for beach life and entertainment. However the apartment is very tranquil, looking over the lush gardens and pools. There is a large infinity pool facing the beach, and a smaller paddling pool for young children.

Poolside View

The shops, markets, bars, cafes, and restaurants of Playa d'en Bossa can be reached along the beach or down the road, a few minutes’ walk from the apartment. Next to the apartment there are a few eateries and a small supermarket. You can get to the beach immediately in front of the apartment directly from the pool and gardens. A short walk up the beach takes you to a jetty from which a boat shuttles to and from Ibiza town all day and evening, a lovely 20 min trip.

Ibiza Marina

The atmosphere in Ibiza town during the summer is fantastic, nothing like the Ibiza that attracted bad publicity years ago. It’s a treat to meander through the windy streets, browsing the stylish shops, sampling the restaurants and bars and admiring the luxury yachts on the marina. A few minutes walk away is the Old Town, a World Heritage site, behind the towering medieval city walls. Within the walls are more eateries with windy cobbled streets leading to the ramparts.

Beach

When you are tired of relaxing by the pool you can explore Ibiza's beaches. There are good beaches within walking distance of the apartment and many others to be reached by car, each with its own character. Under Spanish law all beaches are free - you can only be charged for using sunbeds and parasols. There are lots of other things to do in Ibiza including boat trips, go-karting, diving and snorkelling, horse riding and yoga. There are regular boats to Formentera (40 mins) for a day's outing.

The Ibiza summer season runs from early June to late September, but the weather is good all year round. Months to avoid are January to April.
